A consortium of landowners in Takanini engaged Wes Edwards to assist in developing their rural landholdings (Takanini Structure Plan Area 2a) into urban residential subdivisions.

This has involved reviewing the transportation network, assisting with the preparation of a Structure Plan, testing the Structure Plan through design of subdivisions for the land, designing intersections, preparing the necessary transport assessment, and presenting evidence to plan change and Metropolitan Urban Limit extension hearings.
