McConnell Property partnered with Housing New Zealand to develop this 25ha block of land in Takanini to provide 450 homes and a secondary school.  McConnell Property engaged Wes Edwards Consulting to advise on the subdivision design and to assist in obtaining the necessary approvals.

This has involved the assessment of the proposed subdivision, evaluating the traffic impact on the surrounding area, considering access to public transport, and developing solutions for walking and cycling facilities.

This work was presented in an Integrated Transportation Assessment. We have assisted with presenting evidence to a Plan Change hearing, developing street and housing designs for the subdivisions, and preparing Traffic Impact Assessments for the subdivision.
