Pokeno

The Pokeno Landowners Consortium (PLC) was progressing it's plans to treble the size of the Pokeno Village to a population of 5900 people with around 1800 jobs.

We were engaged to assist with Structure Planning which included studies into suitable options for crossing the North Island Main Trunk railway, key intersection modelling and design, the preparation of concept subdivision designs, and road design guidelines.

We prepared an Integrated Transportation Assessment and assisted with the development of a Private Plan Change. The Plan Change has been adopted by Franklin District Council, notified to the public a hearing was conducted in August 2009.  A decision is expected shortly.
