Urban Master-Planning

Urban Master-Planning is the process of developing a blue-print for the development of an area.  We help fit the transport environment (streets, traffic volumes, public transport, parking, walking, and cycling) together with the goals and aspirations for the intended land-use to ensure the best overall outcome.

The process can include feasibility studies, structure planning, plan changes, and subdivision design.  We have considerable experience in Urban Masterplanning as part of a multi-disciplinary design team, and most commonly for landowners in greenfields areas.

We have helped to develop master plans for residential neighbourhoods, town and neighbourhood centres, retirement villages, office parks, and industrial areas, from small villages through to neighbourhoods of up to 2000 homes.
